For us, it is a great opportunity. In the sales field, AI is automating repetitive tasks such as lead qualification and follow-up with potential customers. This frees up salespeople to focus on more strategic activities, such as building relationships, negotiating, and closing sales.

For us, it wouldn’t replace jobs but functions, compelling us to explore new skills that are not based on rules or simple logic to follow.

To succeed in the future of work, salespeople will need to develop new skills, such as:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving: So far, AI cannot replace the human ability to analyze complex situations and find creative solutions.
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy: It is challenging for AI to understand complex human emotions, and therefore, it cannot build strong relationships with customers. In this sense, salespeople who can connect with customers on an emotional level will be invaluable.
  • Creativity and innovation: Today, AIs are excellent at automating tasks, but they cannot replace human creativity. Salespeople who can think innovatively and develop new sales strategies will be in high demand.
